Curriculum Vitae

I graduated in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Turin in 2025. For the writing of my master’s thesis, I studied the application of RNAi for the control of Scaphoideus titanus, a vector of Grapevine flavescence dorĂ©e phytoplasma. This project involved insect breeding, the selection of potential target genes to be silenced, the synthesis and microinjection of dsRNA molecules. Finally, gene silencing was verified by RT-qPCR. I gained additional laboratory experience through curricular internships: the first as part of a research project aimed at the determination viral titres in Apis mellifera, and the second in a biostimulant company evaluating the efficacy of new prototypes through experimental tests in greenhouses and growth chambers, followed by chemical, physiological and molecular analyses of plant samples.
Since June 2025, I have been involved in the MICOTI research project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture.
